Salvo promoted to Premier Division for first time!

Under the superb leadership of Eugene Moriarty, the 1st XI were elevated to the Premier Division of the Old Boys League for the first time. In a tense last game, promotion was secured in a 3-3 draw with Phoenix old Boys, who needed to win the game for promotion for themselves at our expense. As you can imagine, much celebrating followed especially as the 2nd XI also secured promotion that same day under the stewardship of Dave Clancy and Peter Snell.
